GEORGIA MACKLIN-LOWE
Missionary Georgia Macklin-Lowe is a third generation member of the Church of God in Christ. She is the daughter of the late Bishop F.D. and Mrs. Irene Macklin.
She is a retired business education teacher from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Tipton County, Tennessee public school systems. She served as an instructor for the C.H. Mason Bible College in Memphis, Tennessee.
During her tenure, Georgia received the following certificates and awards, including:

Special recognition from Lane College (Jackson, Tennessee) for being the first African American teacher to integrate all white high school faculty

Recognition in the national COGIC Hall of AIM.
Georgia opened The Georgia Macklin-Lowe Preparatory Academy which provided tutoring to students in elementary, middle, high schools and GED candidates entering college.

She served as the Budget Coordinator for 38 employees for a local business. She is currently pursuing her dream of developing the F.D. Macklin community subdivision in Tipton County, Tennessee, in memory of her father. Georgia loves her family.
Georgia gives all glory, honor, and credit to God for His momentous blessings and guiding her to this point in life. Also, she is grateful for the opportunity to serve, lead and impact the lives of others.
Missionary Georgia Macklin-Lowe is the widow of Bishop Samuel Leon Lowe, Sr., Tennessee Fifth Jurisdictional Prelate who also served as the National COGIC Treasurer for more than 20 years.
